Member cut-off dates (important) Member cut-off dates are set at the 25th of the month before the month of despatch. This is the last date we can add new members to the mailing database or make changes to delivery addresses.
For example, if you join on 24 September, your first issue will be the one due the following month (i.e. October). If you join on 26 September (after the 25th cut-off), your first issue will be the one due in December.

Singletrack World is an independent UK mountain bike magazine, website and community. We’ve been publishing since 2001, with honest reviews, ride stories and an active forum supported by our members.

Can I read Singletrack World for free?
Yes. Non-members can read our reviews and news stories on Singletrackworld.com.
Membership adds extra benefits (including full digital archive access) and helps fund independent publishing.
Is Singletrack World membership worth it?
If you enjoy our reviews and stories and want to keep independent MTB publishing alive, membership is the best way to support us — and you get proper perks back.

What’s the difference between Digital membership and Print membership?
Both options include full member access (including the digital archive). The difference is whether you also receive the printed magazine by post.
- Digital membership: member access + digital magazine editions
- Print membership: everything in Digital plus the printed magazine delivered
How often is Singletrack Magazine published?
Singletrack Magazine is published every other month: February, April, June, August, October and December.
Is the digital archive included in membership?
Yes – the full digital archive is included with all paid memberships.
Are Singletrack World reviews independent? Do brands pay for reviews?
We aim to keep reviews honest and independent. Advertising helps pay the bills, but it doesn’t buy a good review.
If we publish sponsored/paid content, it should be clearly labelled as such.
How does Singletrack World test bikes and gear?
We test products by riding them in the real world, over enough time to understand what’s great, what’s annoying, and what’s marketing fluff.
Our goal is simple: useful, honest opinions that help you spend your money wisely.
Can I buy just one issue without subscribing?
Yes – if you only want a single issue, you can usually buy it from our shop. (Members may get a discount.)
Can I gift a membership?
Yes – gift memberships are available via our shop. It’s a good way to support Singletrack and give someone full access (including the archive).
Membership & account
How do I get to my account pages?
Log in, then click your username at the top of the screen and choose Account.
- If you can’t see your username, you’re not logged in.
- On mobile, your username is in the top menu.
Why can’t I log in?
Most login problems come down to using the wrong email address, an old saved password, or having more than one account.
- Try a password reset using the email address you normally receive Singletrack emails on.
- If the reset email doesn’t arrive, check spam/junk and search your inbox for “Singletrack”.
- If you think you may have two accounts (for example, you’ve paid twice), email subs@singletrackworld.com.
I reset my password but the email never arrives – what now?
Check spam/junk first, then wait a few minutes and try again.
- Make sure you’re resetting the password for the correct email address.
- If you use a work email, your company filter may block automated emails.
- Still nothing? Email subs@singletrackworld.com and tell us the email address you’re trying to use.
How do I update my email address?
Go to your Account page and update your main email address there.
It’s important to keep this current because:
- renewal reminders and payment warnings go to this address
- password reset links go to this address
How do I update my address?
Go to Account and update your address details.
- If you have a print membership, we send magazines to your shipping address.
- You may have both shipping and billing addresses—please keep both up to date.
- If there’s a checkbox to apply address changes to your memberships, keep it ticked.
How do I update my payment details?
Go to Account → Subscriptions → View, then choose Change Payment.
You can:
- update card details
- change payment method
- update bank direct debit details (where available)
Will my membership auto-renew?
Yes. Memberships renew automatically unless you cancel.
We’ll email you:
- a reminder before renewal
- warnings if there’s a payment problem (for example, an expired card)
How can I upgrade or downgrade my membership?
Go to Account → Subscriptions → View and choose Change Your Renewal Price/Upgrade.
This will replace your current subscription with the new one.
I have two subscriptions – what do I do?
Don’t panic. Email subs@singletrackworld.com and we’ll help you merge or fix things.
I want to cancel my subscription – how do I do this?
Go to Account → Subscriptions → View → Cancel.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal payment.
- Your access continues until your current renewal date.
Can I get a refund?
We can’t refund subscriptions part-way through a subscription year.
If you cancel, you’ll keep access (and print delivery where applicable) until your renewal date.
When will my print issue be delivered?
In general, print issues are sent out in the first week of the month, but there can be variability.
If you think your issue is missing, please wait until at least the 19th of the month before contacting us.
I’m a new print member – when will I get my first issue?
There’s a cut-off date for joining and receiving the next magazine: midday UK time on the 25th of the previous month.
Example:
- If you join on 26 January, your first issue will be the April edition.
If you miss the cut-off, you can still buy the issue from our shop (members get a discount).
Where do I see which issues I’ve paid for?
Go to Account → Subscriptions → View.
If you’re a print member, you’ll see the issues you’re due up to your next renewal date.
How can I read the digital version of the magazine?
Go to the Magazine section of the site and download the issue in your preferred format.
You’ll need an app or device that can read the file type you choose.
Digital formats are usually available by the time print issues are out for delivery, but can be as late as the 10th of the month.
What format should I choose (PDF vs EPUB)?
- PDF: looks exactly like the printed magazine (fixed pages). You’ll need a PDF reader.
- EPUB: adapts to your screen and lets you change text size (great for phones and e-readers).
Singletrack Magazine is also available on Pocketmags — how do I get it there?
If you use Pocketmags, you may need to purchase or access issues through Pocketmags directly.
If you’re trying to connect Pocketmags access to your Singletrack membership and it isn’t working, email subs@singletrackworld.com with:
- the email address on your Singletrack account
- the email address on your Pocketmags account (if different)
- the issue(s) you’re trying to access
